Pandharpur, the land of holy pilgrimage. We often see people abandoning and discarding the elderly family members. The project Apna Ghar started to serve the elderly homeless and mentally ill people. Prabha Hira Pratisthan volunteer team lookout for such homeless people across the region.
Very often we found these helpless and homeless people close to Temple, bus stand, railway station, cremation ground etc. We are determined to work for such people by providing them basic necessity like food, shelter, health and hygiene. And also giving psychological help by professional health care providers. We want to make sure that they live a life with dignity.
