“If you judge people, you have no time to love them.” – Mother Teresa
With an unwavering dedication to improving the lives of marginalized and vulnerable HIV-positive children and women, Mangaltai Shah’s journey began with just two abandoned children who needed hope and care. Today, Palawi is home to 110 children, each facing unique challenges and rising above them with the support of a loving and empowering environment. Mangaltai’s mission reflects her passion for offering these children not only health and education but also a chance at a dignified life, regardless of societal prejudice. Her leadership has been instrumental in Palawi’s growth as a sanctuary and support system for these young lives.
Dimple Ghadge stands as a pillar of strength and commitment, driven by the vision of creating a just and equitable society. With a compassionate approach, she ensures that each child at Palawi finds solace, healing, and happiness, despite the dark pasts they have endured. Dimple believes in empowering these children to be prepared for the future, equipping them to become agents of change in their communities. Her work focuses on addressing the stigma and socio-economic issues these marginalized children face, working tirelessly to impact lives at the grassroots level and beyond.
Together, Mangaltai Shah and Dimple Ghadge bring hope, to the lives of the children at Palawi, providing them with a family and a purpose.
